saw this post the other day that talked about how so many of us are soooo scared of appearing even momentarily human towards each other these days. like you can’t see me sweat or cry or without makeup or with food stuck in my teeth or laugh loud and ugly. everything must be composed and sanitised and photo ready at all times. it’s like corporate office culture seeping out into our homes and our lives and for what. it’s not cringe to be a real person around other real people
just learned that humans might have evolved smaller pupils and irises/more whites of our eyes so that it’s easier for other humans to tell where we’re looking as a way of communicating sudden threats. and now i’m thinking of every time i have been frantically giving my friend a Look to get out of an uncomfortable situation (or been on the receiving end). still using it to communicate sudden threats only this time his name is kyle
keep thinking about an au where obi wan survives the death star just so luke has to deal with the fact that his special cool mentor is actually friends with someone who isn’t him
please excuse my hater moment but i hate when people see two characters that have the most insane dynamic and they’re like but what if it was wholesome :) okay well what if they fucked nasty style and tried to kill each other all the time also

everyone’s talking about how “prev tags” is an integral part of how people use the site and now the update’s ruined it and blah blah blah, but you can’t fool me! I remember back when everyone was griping about how it’s a degenerate innovation from twitter migrants and that real tumblr users write out the tags themselves
